Lovely fresh fish that just smells of the sea
The fish quality was excellent overall, but I was a little disappointed by a few things. The advert gave me the impression this would mainly be a wild “catch of the day” style box, so I was surprised to discover that two pieces of fish were farmed. I also expected to receive some fish pie mix, as this is mentioned in the description, but none was included in my box.
I understand from your website that you use “trusted suppliers” for “farmed and exotic species,” however there is no mention of this within the advert for the Luxury Prime Box itself, which mainly refers to it as a “catch of the day” style selection. As a household we do try to avoid farmed fish, so it would have been helpful if this had been made clearer in the advert.
I also hope the green seaweed/grass included in the box was an added extra to accompany the fish, rather than being included in place of an additional fish portion.
Living alone it is going to take a few weeks to go through the box but what I have eaten thus far has been excellent. I did ask for single portions as defrosting can be problematic if there is too much. Perhaps a thought as your retail trade develops?
Funnily enough just had these fishcakes tonight delicious will be buying more and trying the prawn ones too!
Amazing meal with fresh halibut. Simply ovenbaked in fresh lemon, seasoning and covered. Soft, moist and a lot of taste. Will order again if available, fresh halibut isn't always, the price was reasonable too.
Veggie burgers were tasty! Made a nice change from meat.
The quality and variety of the fish in the Catch o the Day box is excellent. If you need to contact staff they are very helpful. I do my order on line and it isprompt and trouble free.

Loving it! There was a good selection of different varieties of fish and generous sized portions. I enjoy receiving fish that wouldn't normally be available in supermarkets and checking out new recipes. Very good value for money.
Really lovely pate. Full of salmon. We would definitely buy this again.
This monkfish is amazing and the curry, this is our favourite.
