Storage & Cooking Guidelines

KEEP FROZEN -18°C or below. Do not refreeze.

Deep fry from frozen. Cook at 180°C for 8-9 minutes or until colour is golden brown. 

Oven bake from frozen. Place on a baking tray in a preheated oven at 200°C and cook for 18-20 minutes, turning halfway through.

Shallow Fry: In oil over a medium heat for 6-7 minutes on each side.

Always check product is piping hot throughout before serving.

Tasty fish cakes

Very tasty but a bit dry … which I do suspect might have been my cooking! I will certainly not be going back to any shop bought fish cakes, that’s for sure.

I like the taste of fish and I always thought that for a product to qualify for a title that includes the term "Fish" that product shall possess at least 10% fish. These potato cakes seem to have about virtually zero fish content. Maybe the person who puts in the fish was absent the day these were made.
