Description

Fish Size: 500-600g

A popular orange-spotted flat fish with a mild, sweet flavour.

It has as pronounced a flavour as Lemon Sole, but it takes sauces and other flavours very well, and is even great for battering!

Cook on the bone to get the best from the flavour, or use fillets with a nice sauce or filling.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! All of our fresh fish is 100% that - has never been frozen and you are completely safe and fine to do so. We actually recommend doing this as soon as you know you won't eat all of your fish to give maximum life to it when you choose to defrost.

All of our products come with a best before date on. Our fresh fish is usually between 3-4 days before we recommend freezing it. Frozen products will often have up to 12 months best before. Just ask us if you're unsure.

We mainly buy our fish from Brixham fish market - since the closure of Plymouth earlier last year. We also have a specially selected d list of trusted suppliers we buy our farmed and exotic species from.

Yes! We encourage you to do just that - if you really want your fish a particular way, or if you're ordering a box but hate a certain species - just tell us! We will do our best to accommodate your every request.
